Ice retention is surprisingly goodJuly 8, 2020I bought this specifically for river rafting in Sacramento. 3 days later and my drinks were still chill. It lasted well into the next day even after being in the hot sun and my truck bed all day. Just don't overload it because the handle bar isn't the best. Also the lid is really strong, but that's a good thing in my opinion. With better ice I would trust this cooler with meat for camping trips. Just don't overload it because the handle bar isn't. Weather was +96 degrees and I only used one bag of ice!
