This allows for strength and minimum weight, allowing higher strength at low weights. Easy on seats - allows seat to survive heavy impact loads without bending rails. 10 degree bend, 16mm (5/8 in.) setback Post and cradle machined from 1 piece 7000 aluminum 41mm saddle rail clamping area for use with 7mm saddle rails Micro adjust, dual pivoting bolt head Includes 12 degree clamp. The Thomson seatpost design incorporates a bending fuse to prevent catastrophic failure. Over double the fatigue life of any other production models tested.
