About this product

Description

This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a sunset at a beach in Florida. Ryan Radke has been painting watercolors for over 17 years. Ryan is partial to street scenes and landscapes, and recognizes that light and shadow play an important role in each painting. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Ryan is compelled to try to recreate it on paper. He is a very accomplished, award winning artist who enjoys teaching watercolor painting to adults and children. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a sunset at a beach in Florida. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. He fell in love with watercolor because of the subtle nuances that he feels cannot be achieved in any other medium. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame.
