Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Robert Farkas started drawing at an early age and soon after took interest in graphic design. He enjoys combining the visual aspects inspired by both his 2d and 3d experience. Self-taught in programs like flash and dreamweaver, Robert worked as a freelance designer, which eventually LED to an art director position. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Today, Farkas continues his freelance work into T-shirt design.
