The suspension fixture is powder-coated cast metal with a flexible E27 socket that is rated to 60 watts. The craftsmanship manifests itself in the shapes and sizes of the bubbles, controlled by the use of shapes. The shade is intended to be playful and explores the reflections, twists and refractions a light source experiences when surrounded by glass with patterns blown into it. Perfect as a stand-alone or in a cluster - and well-suited for all interior designs. Wilkinson explains that it all began with the idea of seeing the world through a filter, inspired by antique ceramics, old glass pieces, lenses from old lamps, lighthouses and mirrored bottles. The texture of the glass is created using computer-aided design in order to control the blowing of each bubble. This pendant is made from elegantly mould-blown glass, sports a quilted pattern and is available in two versions. The first is transparent with a discreet silver sheen while the other has a fascinating sandblasted matte white surface. The production process is characterised by its unique combination of industrial processes and traditional craftsmanship.
